Shibori discharge

Way too much life has been going on around here, and not enough art. Our youngest daughter is getting married in April and having her reception at our house. We had her shower here last weekend, so I've been racing around doing stuff, just stuff.

Next Monday we are leaving for 2 weeks in Panama and Costa Rica for some R and R with friends and while I am really looking forward to this trip, I have a lot going on here that I need to finish. I am entering an invitational show that I can't share yet, and of course 12 x 12 is going to be looming when I get back.

These 2 pics are from different black fabrics I had. I know one is a cotton sateen, that I pole wrapped and stuck in a bucket with diluted bleach. I then threw them in a low immersion dye.

These last to are various photos I have taken, and for a class, I made collages, one of circles, the other of lines
