It's not like I don't have enough to do here, deadlines approaching on a few projects, babies to visit, but at my critique group meeting last week, Pam http://pamprice.blogspot.com/ brought this book. I immediatly ordered it with rush delivery, I couldn't wait to start making these.
Only mine are not so cute. I'm not a great follower of directions, and I need lots of pictures. The book kept saying it gets better the more you make, and how great it is to improvise. The first one I made, on the left was made using supplies included in the book kit. The second one is from socks from Target, and yes, that purple across the center are lips. I'm thankful Riley is only 3 weeks old, and hopefully won't judge her grandma too harshly
I bought lots of socks anticipating a whole village of creatures. This may end up a rather small family.

They are hilarious! I may need to find that book for myself. I think Riley will adore her sock creatures.
Wonderful job Grandma Karen! :-) Riley will like them.
haha - these are MUCH more fun than the ones on the cover of the book.
You have plenty of time to make Riley a village of sock people. I think yours are wackily charming!
