More Panama City - Costa Rica

This first picture is a boat on a river in Costa Rica. We were headed out to sea to go to a remote area on the tip of the coast to look at the rainforest. After we returned, and after a few beers, I counted over 100 bug bites on my legs!
The rest of these pictues are in Panama City in the "French Quarter", an old area of the city

originally inhabited by the french. It reminded me so much of New Orleans.

That was a royal bird given to the president of Panama by some foreign dignitary

Isn't the decay amazing!

Nice pictures! Looking forward to seeing which one you're using for your window quilt..
Hope your legs recovered from the bites!

I love the textures of the buildings...I see a new quilt in your horizon.
