Napkin Piece

I was playing around with one of the linen napkin pieces I had screenprinted in the earlier blog. I like the composition, and I had the idea to lay them all out (6 pieces) and work them into a series. This one has machine and hand stitching, cheesecloth, painted interfacing, some gold foiling, and a sheer I had screenprinted earlier. I'm working on the second and third one now. I really seem to like to work small, which is frustrating me right now, as I'd like to make something for the "Point of View" exhibit for SAQA, due Sept 15th! and it has a miinimum size of 30"/side.
