Aspen in Autumn

This is my second in a series on Aspens. This one was covered in tulle before I started the stitching, so I didn't have to do as much handwork to hold it in place. I'm thinking of one or 2 more, I'd like to do one with the moonlight shining thru the trees, but haven't figured it out yet. I'm trying to sketch the designs before I start with the fabric, but I'm not used to that way of doing things. I'm taking a City and Guilds class with Linda and Laura Kemshall and they are big on sketching ideas out before starting on fabric to work out all the kinks.
