I've finished the construction triptych and mounted it on the 1 1/2 inch deep canvas. The mounting is not finished, I need to neaten up the corners, and I think the piece on the right side looks a little off when following the line of the brown/tan beam, but I may be able to remount that a little lower without throwing off the upper black and white line too much. Conclusion? Very gratifying to work on, lots of design issues that were fun to work thru, and overall I think it works.

Yes, it looks good. And if you can lower the third one just a tiny bit, it wil be perfect.
After having seen this in person, I can attest to the fact that the three pieces really work well as a unit. The stitching on the rust-work doesn't show in the photo, but it's wonderful!
