Ohio Crow Barn - Last Day

On Friday we finished putting our compositions together with Jan's help. This piece below is Judy Carpenters and isn't it wonderful? The colors are so rich, and there is so much movement in it. And here is Barbara's. If I remember correctly, Barbara lived by the great lakes for a while, and she wanted to recapture the feeling she had there.

And mine. I worked with rectangular ideas and as always, I'm not happy with it. Mainly the colors I chose, but I will continue the process and see what happens.

This is one of Jan's quilts. It is named Urubamba
and reminds her of Peru.

Aand Jayne Larson made the piece below which I just love. I hope it stays irregular.

I want to let you know about a new group that has formed called Digital to Textile and it's at http://digitaltotextile.blogspot.com/ Please check us out and let us know wht you think.

I'm missing you!!!! You took some great pics during our class. I loved what you were doing with your pieces....hope you'll post pics as you work on it. Jayne's pieces are really great too. Does she have a blog? I also want to see how she finishes hers.

Hope your reentry into the real world wasn't too painful!

I love the gray blue with the piece of red- I'd say that is a winner- I also think creating the horizon line was pure genius.
