This month for the challange http://sharonb.wordpress.com/take-it-further-challenge/, I decided to use the color scheme. 
I started with a piece of burlap and added some silk and wool roving, some silk cocoon and a few stitches to hold it together. I'm taking Sharons on line class from Joggles on Studio Journals and having fun making marks for the first lesson. I'm combining this with some of the lessons in the book "Finding Your Own Visual Language" by Jane Dunnewold, Claire Benn and Leslie Morgan.
