Body Parts

Before I talk about my own work, I want to show you nature's work in my backyard.  This Trumpet Vine is about 10 feet tall, and full of flowers.

My own work is not so tall, about 4 feet by 3 feet, and is a continuation of my series on MRI's.  This is a very badly fractured hip belonging to the friend of a friend.  She has osteoarthritis, and has fractured her hips more than once.

I've finished 10 pieces for this series, and plan at least 2 more.  After that, I'm starting on some sonograms from two of my daughters' pregnancies.  That will be more personal work, which I think is why I'm spending a lot of time thinking about it, but haven't been able to start on it.
